2020 is coming to an end. This year more than ever, traditional religious and cultural Holidays bring on a time for reflexion and a need for togetherness. It is a time when concepts like Love, Peace, Hope and Joy deeply resonate in our lives.
Love is the ultimate gift that our spouse, sweetheart, child, parent, friend want and expect from us, and that we should freely and abundantly give. Let’s demonstrate a meaningful love making sure that our family and friends know they can count on us. Not for presents, not just for the fun around the holidays, but for the future. Let’s put others ahead of ourselves. Not everyone will have a great holiday season with tons of presents to offer. Let’s show our love with a generous, compassionate and caring heart. It is always more rewarding to give than to receive, so let's pour some unconditional love around us!
Peace is indispensable for a harmonious life, at home, at work, in the world. Let’s hope for the reduction of conflicts, greater economic interactivity and consequently prosperity. Peace is so fragile, so precious, and we often take it for granted. Let’s remember those who don’t know freedom, and who live in fear. During these festivities, may the closeness of family and friends, the comfort of home, and the unity of our nations, renew our spirits with peace.
Hope is a powerful force in our lives. While we will be decorating our homes with evergreens, let’s remind ourselves of the promise of everlasting life and our ability to weather hardship. The evergreen remains unchanged through the seasons, inspiring a message of hope to persevere through adversity. Even when we feel as though our world is growing stale and uncertain, there is always an element of newness and rebirth. May we find strength in our faiths and beliefs and may each of our hearts be filled with hope.
